Autobiography

My name is Mr. Nwoke Nzeribe Judethedues, and I am a dedicated nurse with a profound passion for healthcare and well-being. My journey in the nursing profession began at the College of Nursing Science in Umulogho, Obowo, Imo State, where I pursued my Registered Nurse (RN) certification. The foundation I received during my training was instrumental in shaping my understanding of patient care and the critical role nurses play in the healthcare system. After obtaining my RN, I sought to further enhance my knowledge and skills in nursing. I enrolled at Saint Monica University Higher Institute in Buea, Cameroon, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BScN). This academic journey broadened my perspective on various nursing practices and equipped me with the theoretical knowledge necessary for advanced patient care. Driven by a desire for continuous growth, I later pursued a Master’s Degree (MSc) at the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State. This experience deepened my understanding of health systems and management, allowing me to approach nursing with a more analytical and strategic mindset. Over the past 16 years, I have had the privilege of working in the oil and gas industry as an Occupational Health Nurse. This role has not only challenged me but has also provided me with invaluable experiences. I have been responsible for promoting health and safety standards within the workplace, conducting health assessments, and providing critical care to employees. My time in this field has reinforced my belief in the importance of preventive health measures and the need for robust health policies in high-risk industries. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to professional development and ongoing education, understanding that the field of healthcare is ever-evolving. I have actively participated in various workshops and training programs to stay updated with the latest advancements in nursing and occupational health. In addition to my professional endeavors, I am passionate about mentoring aspiring nurses and sharing my knowledge with the next generation of healthcare professionals. I believe that by empowering others, we can collectively improve the standards of care and make a lasting impact on our communities. As I reflect on my journey, I am grateful for the opportunities I have had and the people I have met along the way. My experiences have shaped me into the nurse I am today, and I look forward to continuing my work in healthcare, advocating for the health and well-being of others, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.
